LAYER MASK WHEN USED PROPERLY COULD REALLY ADD SOME AMAZING EFFECTS TO A COMPOSITION, AND THEY ARE QUITE SIMPLE TO USE. WITH LATER MASK YOU CAN CONTROL THE TRANSPARENCY ON JUST PARTS ON IMAGE VS WITH OPACITY IS CHANGES THE TRANSPARENCY OF THE WHOLE IMAGE. ONE OF THE THINGS TO REMEMBER WITH LAYER MASK IS THAT BLACK HIDES AND WHITE REVEALS.
Text effects was probably the hardest assignment for me, but it was also one of my favorites. Not only could you create some fun, playful, and creative compositions, but we used all skills learned throughout the quarter to reach the desired effect.
Image adjustments could really transform an image. Some of the images below were so dark that you couldn't see the finer details, playing with lightness, vibrancy, hue, saturation, levels, and curves could really bring a image to life.
