Happy New Year January 8, 2020

From the President's Desk

Dear Friends,

On the 12th day of Christmas, my true love sent to me . . . .

Certainly, you know the rest of the verse. It warms the heart to realize that these gifts come from no sense of obligation, rather they come from true love. Fans of the Princess Bride will remember 'true love' is the noblest of causes, as Miracle Max must admit. The priceless gift of education fits that pattern perfectly, for all of us who make this school possible in reality show love, the selfless desire for the good of another.

Scrooge, in the end, opted to celebrate Christmas all year long, and did so by generosity, kindness and bringing cheer. May we all do the same and in us also may the Scripture be fulfilled, "How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who heralds peace, proclaims happiness, who announces salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.” Isaiah 52:7

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Joyeux Noel, Bonne Annee!

Timothy Gallic

P.S. the verse is 12 Drummers Drumming- the 12 tenents of the Creed

P.P.S. Questions, cares comments or concerns? All are welcome.
