Vancouver a trip through my eyes

My trip to Vancouver, although shortlived and bittersweet, was incredibly eye opening. I visited some of the best coffee shops and cafés and went on some of the coolest hikes in freezing lakes. I touched the ocean to my toes for the first time, and for the first time in my life - I was living on my own.

Deep Cove was the perfect place for canoe, kayak and stand-up paddle board rentals. Too bad I was broke! I hit the trails by foot instead. There were lots of cool pathways, tree roots, rocks and ocean water to look at and explore.

I can't wait to go back.

Our newly made friend Angelo joined us on some of our trips, he was really friendly. He travelled from Sicily.

I carried around my cousins Diana Film camera all day.

For some reason, only these Deep Cove photos turned out. I had taken much more, but they probably got damaged during my other adventures to Lynn Canyon.

The trees in Vancouver were much taller than the ones in Ontario. Not to mention their width was astonishingly larger as well. They blocked out a lot of noise.
