Pump House Brewery Moncton, New Brunswick

PREMIERE SUITES ATLANTIC IS EXCITED TO SHINE OUR HOLIDAY SPOTLIGHT ON THE PUMP HOUSE BREWERY
The story of the Pump House Brewery is the story of a dream come true.

The husband and wife team of Shaun and Lilia Fraser opened the Pump House in September 1999 fulfilling Shaun’s long term dream of opening his own brewery. Shaun actually appeared on the “Thrill of a Lifetime” television show in the 1980s when he was given the chance to brew beer at a Labatt’s plant after his inability to land a job with any of the big breweries. While in didn’t turn into a full time gig (Shaun didn’t have the food science or chemical engineering background required to be a brew master at the plant; his education is as a Geologist) it started him off on his journey to owning his own brewery and eventually winning Canadian Brewery of the Year.

Why the name Pump House?

Well, it's a question many people ask and has to do with the fact Shaun is a retired fire fighter from the Moncton Fire Department.

Moncton's Original Wood Fired Pizza

The authentic Italian way to bake pizza is to use a real wood fired brick oven. The intense heat cooks the pizza quickly, locking in freshness and flavour, while creating a light and crispy crust with a truly unique taste.

We make each pizza crust by hand, using the finest hard wheat flour, olive oil and a measure of our hand crafted beer, topped with a special tomato sauce and a whole milk mozzarella.

Brewery Tours

Tours are available with a charge of $2 per person with a minimum of 10 people. The tour includes samples of Pump House beer and should be scheduled in advance.

Shaun & Lilia are very proud and honoured to receive several awards over the years.
