Clavichord Stein 18th century

Clavichord Stein

Germany ± 1750, C - d'''

A basic clavichord made after a Stein clavichord, that plays and sounds very good.

The famous clavichord builder Stein, who made instruments for Mozart, also made some simple travel clavichords, with one chord per key.

This instrument has been further simplified, especially in it's appearance. The result is an instrument that can be affordable for everyone, is easy to tune in any temperament and hardly requires any maintenance.
