Give Thanks & Eat Pie, Week 1: Pre-Planning Tips from Michael-Jay Williams and Spica Real Estate

PRE-PLANNING

Should we stay?

or

Should we go?

Clean the Refrigerator

  • Now is a great time to clean and wipe off all your shelves.
  • Throw out any items that have expired in your fridge or freezer.
  • This way, you will have room as you stock up for Thanksgiving week.

Clean the Oven

Use this time early in the month to run your oven on a self-clean cycle or use some "elbow grease" and give your oven a good wipe down. This can prevent you from having an unintentionally smoky Thanksgiving.

Check the Pantry.

Remove expired items. Make a list of things you will need that you don't regularly buy (Examples include):

  • Cornstarch
  • Aluminum Foil
  • Poultry Seasoning

Do we need to rent tables and chairs?
