After working at MPAA for 8 years Chef Mark would move to San Francisco, Ca. to attend Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts and finish top of his class in 2008. Later that year Chef Mark was awarded an internship at Google with the culinary team, in short order, he moved up through the ranks from chef to sous chef and interim executive chef. It was at this point that a chance encounter over a holiday meal would bring his talents to Iraq to cook for our soldiers. Starting off as a Sous chef, chef Mark rose quickly to a position that would have him oversee food operations for an entire section of Iraq that would include over 38 dining facilities, scores of foodservice supervisors, and thousands of chefs. Upon returning to Washington DC he would take the position of Culinary Arts Teacher at Ballou Senior High School in, SE Washington DC for one year before getting the call to head to Afghanistan to cook for high-ranking officials in the DEA in Kabul, Afghanistan, Abu Dhabi & Dubai.
