This a compass. The English invented this tool to find their way around and know where North East South and West were at all times.

Master Wythe has given me money to go Tin Smith store. There are things like cups, pans and pots hanging all over the walls. These things are very good to use for my cooking. I will ask what I want and how I want it so I can bring it back to the house to cook with. I was suprised to know that she also helped to make musket balls. I will bring my new pots back to the Whythe house to cook with.

This is my master George's house. He is high gentry. My favorite part of his house is the scince room. Although I have never been in the room, it mistefies as I walk by it. I long to learn the things he teaches Mr. Jefferson. The part of the house I will be most in is the kitchen, since I am a cook. My most favorite item in the house is the globe. I like to look at my country. It makes me sad but gives me comfort.
