Walked out of my office in Florida and watched the Challenger launch and subsequent destruction of the orbiter. Assisted in the Secretary Roger's Investigation of the accident.

Walked out on my deck and watched the smoke billow up from the burning Pentagon shortly after the 9.11 attacks on New York City and Washington, DC.

Dragged my wife Cindy and my two daughters to 17 different homes during my career. They all survived. Renee is a Senior Vice President for Lionsgate Studios (LA LA Land) and Laura is a teacher in Portland, Oregon.
