Magnolia Market Our tRip to the silos

For our last official weekday of spring break, we decided to take the one-hour trip to Waco to visit Magnolia Market. If you're familiar with the HGTV show "Fixer Upper", Magonlia Market is the retail center created by the shows stars Joanna & Chip Gaines. Little did we know that today was a vendor fair, so the normally long lines were even longer. Add to that the spring break crowd, let's just say we made the best of it.

Our first task was to get cupcakes from the Silos Baking Co. Last time we visited, it had not been opened. We spent the time chatting with people in line & enjoying the atmosphere.
Saw some cool vendors while we waited in line. I'm seriously digging the VW Microbus T1 utility truck.
Our time in line was well worth the wait! The was plenty of cupcakes & pastries available for us to choose from. Our favorites are red velvet, coconut, and chocolate. We also splurged on a cinnamon roll.
It's amazing to see how a once abandoned building had been repurposed into an amazing venue for people to shop, eat, or just hang out.
Hanging out with the two most beautiful ladies in my life. Unfortunately only 3/4 of the family made this trip. Son had had to work. But he did ask to bring back a cupcake for him...LOL!
We ended our trip short. Didn't make it into the shop because line was about 1.5 hours to get in. We decided cupcakes was reward enough for the trip. Until the next trip!
