-Mostly women have a higher chance of getting a Urinary Tract Infection. Some people are more prone to get UTI’s. If they have a spinal cord injury or other nerve damage around the bladder they are likely to get this infection.People with diabetes or problems with the body’s natural defense system can also contract this infection.


-This Urinary Tract Infection is a disease


-Urinary tract infections have been described since ancient times with the first documented description in the Ebers Papyrus dated to c. 1550 BC.


-It was found in ancient Egypt. You can get treatment at your home or at pharmacy. The UTI can be located at urethra but if this isn’t treated it will continue infect all the way to kidney.


-Women may be especially prone to UTIs because they have shorter urethras, which allow bacteria quick access to the bladder. Having sex can introduce bacteria into the urinary tract, too.


-in our group there are two girls wanting to know how to prevent a UTI infection.
