We have all needed to find a new normal in the midst of uncertainty. Whatever that new normal is, God is here beside us. Pearce Church has also needed to adjust and connect with people in new ways, so we're sharing here how we are responding to and connecting with each other during the current situation.
Our building, including Pearce 4 Kids, remains closed. However, P4K is preparing to open their daycare program on June 1. All the necessary Covid19 safeguards will be in place both for the little ones and for the staff. This vital step in serving young working families is an important part of our ongoing ministry.
The Genesis Conference has recommended that we plan for meeting together in worship sometime after Labor Day. Our leadership team is committed to ensuring a safe and worshipful atmosphere. We are still able to worship our amazing God together online. God is with us no matter where or how we worship.
We invite you to join us on Facebook or YouTube for our online worship experience on Sundays at 10:30am. (You can join the service again at any time.)
Check our Pearce Church Facebook Page for Daily Connect Monday-Friday at 7pm where we'll look at the Word, pray, and worship together.

Pray: Pray for the many needs in our church family, community, and world. For all affected by COVID-19, for healthcare providers, for our leaders. Pray that God would protect our community from further spread of the virus. If you'd like us to pray for you, send your prayer requests to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Be Generous: Many of our friends and neighbors are struggling to provide food for their families during this time and we want to help. If you have extra groceries you can share, drop off food and personal care donations at Door #5 (located on the Orchard Street side of the building) on Mondays from 8-10am and Thursdays from 2-4pm. Items especially needed are: canned proteins of any kind, canned fruits and vegetables, juices, soups, SpaghettiOs and canned pastas for kid lunches (for those kids home alone), kid-friendly snacks, jelly and jam, pastas, canned tomato products and jarred sauces, instant potatoes, TP and paper products, personal care items (toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, bar soap, razors, etc.).
Send a Card or Make a Call: Reach out to someone you know who may feel alone during this very isolating time. If you'd like a suggestion, contact the church at email@example.com and we’ll pass on some names.

We get to be the church beyond our walls. We get to be the church beyond Sunday morning. We get to be the hands and feet of Jesus. We get to be the church we always said we were.
