JOIN US FOR WORSHIP In-Person on Saturday at 5pm and Sunday at 10:30am or on Facebook and YouTube on Sunday at 10:30am. If you plan to join us in person, we ask that you register your attendance each week. Watch this quick video on how to register...you need to click through several screens before you are actually registered, so it's good to know that ahead of time! You can also call the church at 585-594-9488 to register. We ask that you wear a mask when you are in our building and maintain 6 ft social distancing at all times. Read our entire Regathering Safety Plan, following federal and state guidelines and guidance from the CDC.
We are offering BAPTISM ON OCTOBER 24 & 25. Baptism is a testimony to God and people that you will live a new life in Christ, an outward act of what has happened in your heart. If you are interested in being baptized, or would like to discuss baptism, please contact Pastor Todd at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the church office at 585-594-9488. Parents, if your 5th or 6th grader is interested in being baptized, Pastor Todd would love to meet with you and your child to talk more about what it means to be baptized.
WE WANT TO STAY CONNECTED WITH YOU!

THANKSGIVING COMMUNITY FOOD MINISTRY
Because of COVID 19, our community has an even greater need for food. We plan to provide our THANKSGIVING COMMUNITY FOOD MINISTRY again this year—how can we not? There are many challenges facing us to make this happen. We appreciate your prayers as we make Thanksgiving meaningful for families in our community during unusual and difficult circumstances.
We are asking everyone to PARTICIPATE IN ADOPT-A-BOXES again this year, but with a plea to donate 1, 2, or even 3 boxes per family to provide for the extra need. Please try to provide your own packing box, typically the size of a copy paper box. (If you need one, boxes are available at the church.) We've set aside several DONATION DROP-OFF WEEKENDS to help spread things out a bit. OCTOBER 24 & 25 AND NOVEMBER 14 & 15 are our remaining drop off weekends. When you come for worship, you can bring Adopt-a-Boxes into the church and leave them at the wall across from the Family Life Center (by the Orchard Street entrance). If you miss the donation drop-off day, you can leave your donation at the church before/after any weekend service or weekdays from 6:30am-6pm.
ADOPT-A-BOX SHOPPING LIST: 1 can of soup, 1 can of green beans, 1 can of corn, 1 additional canned vegetable, 2 cans of fruit, 1 can of yams, 1 can/jar of applesauce, 1 can cranberry sauce, 1 box of stuffing, 2 cans of tuna or PB/jelly, 1 box spaghetti, 1 jar spaghetti sauce, 1 box mac and cheese, 1 box of pancake mix or cereal, 1box of potatoes, 1 box of jello, 1 dessert (here's a printable list)
We’ve ordered 1,000 turkeys from Palmer Foods. FINANCIAL DONATIONS can be made to Pearce Church to cover the approximately $13,000 cost. Please specify your donation to the Thanksgiving Food Ministry. Thank you ahead of time for your contribution! If you have questions, contact Terry or Sherri Taber at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our FOOD CUPBOARD continues to help those in our community who are in need. When you’re out buying groceries, consider picking up a few non-perishable items for our food cupboard. Current needs are shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, jelly, Chef Boyardee/quick meals for kids, kidney and black beans, juice, canned fruit, and canned and diced tomatoes. Donations can be left in the shopping cart in the main lobby. If you’d like to help on the Food Cupboard team, contact Brook Forrett at email@example.com.
As we continue to gather for worship in our building, we need more welcoming people to SERVE ON OUR GUEST SERVICES TEAM. What help is needed? Greeters—welcome guests and ensure they’re wearing masks. Attendance Takers—check off folks who have registered to attend the service. Registration—take the name and phone number of those who haven’t registered for the service. Ushers—seat and dismiss people from the service
Training is provided. The goal is for each team member to serve one Sunday per month, arriving by 9:45 and staying through the end of the service. Serve with a friend and then attend the service. We look forward to welcoming more volunteers to this team! Contact Joan Goulart at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more and sign-up.
Want to join the Pearce team? We’re looking for SUNDAY MORNING CUSTODIANS. You can help us keep everyone safe and secure while they are in our building. Commitment is about five hours on Sunday mornings and includes opening and closing the building, light cleaning, and snow shoveling when needed. If you want to learn more or apply, contact Bob Antes at email@example.com.
