It's (finally) time to REGATHER for IN-PERSON WORSHIP starting Sunday, August 9, at 10:30am!
Following federal and state guidelines and guidance from the CDC, we have created a Regathering Safety Plan to facilitate reopening for in-person worship. We encourage you to read through the entire safety plan.
We're opening but at a limited capacity and ask that you register online for worship each week. Watch this quick video on how to register...you do need to click through several screens before you are actually registered, so it's good to know that ahead of time! You can also call the church at 585-594-9488 to register.
Want to know what to expect when you arrive? Percy gives us a sneak peek in this video.
As excited as we are to see everyone, we do understand that not everyone will be ready to meet back in the building, and that is OK. We'll continue to offer online worship services on Facebook and YouTube.
FAREWELL, PASTOR GLENN & NANCY! COVID-19, quarantine, schools and businesses closing, church online. Who knew? God did and He provided the perfect leader to carry us through. We’re thankful for Pastor Glenn and Nancy’s faithful service to our congregation and want to send them off with a car full of cards to let them know how much we appreciate them! A basket will be available in the lobby to collect cards on August 16 or you can use the drop-box near the café entrance. Following the service (11:45ish), you’re invited to Bring Your Own Picnic Lunch to the Orchard Street lawn. You’ll be invited to find a circle on the lawn for your family to enjoy your lunch. Pastor Glenn and Nancy will make their way to each circle to talk with everyone and say final farewells. If it should rain, we’ll settle Pastor Glenn and his family under a canopy while everyone lines up in a car parade to say farewell.
WELCOME, PASTOR TODD & JEANNE! Our August 23 worship service will be a special time to welcome Pastor Todd and Jeanne Daningburg with moments by Supt. Pam Braman and Terry Taber, Official Board Chair. Pastor Todd will bring the message, "At the Crossroads" from Proverbs 3:1-6. There will be opportunity to greet the Daningburgs after the service and a welcome event is planned for September 13.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO PLUG IN to ministry here at Pearce? Find a way to get more connected? Joining one of our serve teams can be a great way to meet new people and use your giftings to serve the Lord. As we move back to in-person worship services and continue to live-steam our services every Sunday, there are many opportunities available (both digital and in-person).
GUEST SERVICES TEAM: Join our team of energetic and welcoming people who serve as greeters, check-in helpers, and ushers. Training is provided. Each team member serves one Sunday per month, arriving by 9:45 and staying through the end of the service. Contact Joan Goulart at email@example.com to learn more.
TECH TEAM: Help make sure our worship services are meaningful to everyone, both in person and online. Some positions require expertise, but some are perfect for anyone willing to learn. Training is provided on Thursday evenings. The Tech Team serves on Sunday mornings, starting at 9am through the end of the service. To learn more, contact Jessie Keim at firstname.lastname@example.org.
ONLINE HOST TEAM: Welcome those who join the livestream on Facebook and answer any questions. Each host serves one Sunday a month, from about 10:20am through the end of the service; training is provided. Want to learn more? Contact Kim Mantegna at email@example.com.
WE'RE HELPING OUR NEIGHBORS through our Food Cupboard. If you’d like to join in this ministry, drop off food and personal care items in the church lobby Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm. Please wear a mask while in our building and maintain social distance.
Do you have a FURNISHED APARTMENT AVAILABLE TO RENT? The Helms family, medical missionaries who have stayed in our mission house in the past, came home from Phnom Penh for medical tests in early May. Due to the pandemic, they have decided to stay put for a while and are looking to rent a furnished apartment in the Chili area. If you have an apartment available or would like to learn more, contact Bev Faro at firstname.lastname@example.org.
KIDS (birth-5th grade)
Questions? Email Lydia at email@example.com
TEENS (6th-12th grade)
- Parents, we have several TNT (TUESDAY NIGHT TEENS) EVENTS AND SEVERAL EXTENDED SATURDAY EVENTS planned this summer (through August 22). TNT is open to anyone entering 6th grade this fall through those who just graduated from 12th grade and their friends. As long as in-person events can be safely conducted in accordance with public health guidelines, these events will take place outside in a variety of local parks and backyards and teenagers will have to arrange their own transportation. If your teen plans to attend a TNT event, you must email TC in advance at firstname.lastname@example.org. FIND DETAILS FOR EACH TNT ON THE JOURNEY TEENS PAGE.
- Our teens are also meeting on Sundays for a LIVE EQUIP STUDY at 11:30am on Instagram (pearcejourneyteens) and Facebook (Pearce Journey Teens).
- Parents, join the Pearce Journey Teens Facebook group. Teens, follow us on Instagram.

We ask that you CONTINUE TO BE FAITHFUL TO YOUR TITHES AND OFFERINGS to God’s work through this ministry. See the giving page of our website for ways to contribute, or use the link below to give online.
We get to be the church beyond our walls. We get to be the church beyond Sunday morning. We get to be the hands and feet of Jesus. We get to be the church we always said we were.
