Christopher Columbus was born in 1451 in Genoa, Italy and died May 20, 1506.

In Christopher Columbus's early life he worked as a trader and also learned how to make maps.

Christopher Columbus had three ships witch where the Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria.

Christopher Columbus searched for India and landed in the Bahamas thinking he was in India.

This is a map that shows where Christopher Columbus sailed on his exploration to find India but landed in the Bahamas.

Christopher Columbus's exploration set sail August 3, 1492 the exploration was long and the sailors on the ship where nervous of getting scurvy witch is a sickness caused by not getting the right amount of vitamin C. They spotted land October 12, 1492.

Some fun facts about Christopher Columbus and his voyages are, Columbus was buried in Spain but later on, his remains were moved to Santo Domingo and then moved back to Spain. Another fun fact is the sailor who spotted land was on the Pinta in the crows nest and he got a reward for spotting it.
