JOHN LYNDERS #LASTPOLE EXPEDITION TEAM MEMBER

POLAR TRAINING IN NORWAY 2017

In February 2018 a team of explorers will set off to reach the Northern Pole of Inaccessibility; also known as the Arctic Pole. It is defined as the furthest point from land on the Arctic Ocean. It remains the last truly significant place yet to be reached by mankind. Ordinary people taking the Pulse of the Planet.

800 mile trek taking in the Magnetic Pole
Our route to The NORTHERN Pole of Inaccessibility

From February 2018, Jim McNeill will lead a team of ordinary people 800 miles for 80 days, across the Arctic Ocean to The Northern Pole of Inaccessibility. We will man-haul all our food - fuel & equipment while keeping a vigilant eye for potential polar bears. We will be gathering crucial scientific data along our route, to be fed back to NSIDC, MET Office, RGS, NPI and SPRI.

Get Involved

You will be supporting me as an individual team member of the Expedition.

I'm currently looking for a Major Sponsor to headline my participation on the Expedition, and work in conjunction with me and Ice Warrior in creating a piece of both Irish and world history. Any sponsors associated with this Expedition will be recognised a long way into the future. It’s rare that an opportunity presents itself where your marketing investment carries on years and decades into the future.

Our aim is to enable any potential sponsors to participate in supporting me on this exciting trek of endurance and we are willing to discuss sponsorship from individual sponsors to major brands. Your own dedicated polar explorer, ambassador.
