College Exploration

  • Click on Big Future Link
  • Complete all or most of the “Selections” on the left hand side. Note: You can leave items blank if they are not important to you. **Each section has a Blue Arrow that you need to move along a scale. Be sure to do that. Your Colleges options will be limited if you leave all at “must have.”
  • Test Scores & Selectivity: Add the scores you received on the SAT and/or ACT. Leave this section blank if you have not taken the Exam
  • Type of School: Choose the options that are important to you
  • Location: Choose a specific distance from your home OR choose states (can choose multiple) that you would like your College to be in
  • Campus & Housing: Choose the options that are important to you
  • Majors & Learning Environment: Enter the Major of your interest. You can select an entire Field or you can type in a specific Major
  • Sports & Activities
  • Academic Credit
  • Paying
  • Additional Support
  • Diversity
  • Click on each college to learn about the school. If the College interests you then click “Add this college to your list.” You can also add all schools to you list by choosing “save selection”
  • Save your selections to your College Board account

3. Scroll down and click “College” on the left side

4. Scroll down and click “College Visit Calendar"

5. Fill out the D230 Student Visit Sign Up form
