Adobe MAX 2016 Pre-conference In Word and Pictures

Thanks for checking out my Spark Page project about Adobe MAX 2016! I produced several of these stories, and you can find links t all of them at the end of this project. I did something different with these Spark stories; I treated them more as living documents, so for the duration of MAX, I updated these stories as events progressed.

I shot with both my iPhone as well as my Nikon D750, and everything was processed in Lightroom Desktop and Lightroom Mobile - and occasionally I'd toss in an image processed in Instagram or Adobe Post.

I arrived on Sunday, just ahead of the MAX preconference. And between Sunday afternoon and Monday morning, I captured a bit of the flavor of downtown San Diego, with an eye to planning out the upcoming International Press Photo Walk I would be co-hosting.

Conference Ambiance

The pre-conference workshops I was involved in had a surfer theme - perfect for my fashion wardrobe!

A busy - and productive - 1 1/2 days with instructor Justin Seeley. Justin walked through mobile apps, the latest versions of Photoshop and Illustrator and Adobe Stock, and assigned some fun projects, like surf-themed stickers.

Photo Walk Location Scouting

As a cohost for the International Press Photo Walk, I spent some time early Sunday morning, checking out potential locations for the group to shoot, then worked with the rest of the team to map out the route.
