Pic Me Pets is a website that allows adoptable pets to have the marketing they deserve. By focusing on the photos, this content first driven website allows the pets to shine.

Managed website features from launch; improving site usability through formal studies; used clickable wireframes for usability testing; worked with local shelters to schedule events for content

• Worked with developer using Agile development methodologies

• Performed several informal and formal usability tests on user experience designs

• Published “Can Better Photographs Raise Animal Shelter Adoption Rates?” (MakeMemphis.org - 02/26/16)

• Acquired 150 volunteer photographers through Meet-Up Group and various social media outlets

• Acquired over 1,000 likes on Facebook Page with an average weekly reach of 13,000 and 3 calls to shelter

• Used qualitative and quantitative analysis for developing user personas and user flows


Low adoption rates due to poor marketing of pets and bad UX
