QB1 Mike Lupica

This book mostly takes place in granger which is the city. It makes me feel like I would wanna move there because it's a big football city. Which is the reason why I like this book because of football. But if I was Jake I would wanna move because then he wouldn't have to be exactly like hid dad and brother
Jake's house and the restaurants. Mostly Jake's house because they have a lot of long conversations. The. Restaurants because that's how all the friends meet up

It takes place at the beginning of the high school football season. It makes me feel excited because I know what it's like to be getting ready for football games. Especially in his position it would be exciting playing in the games

It's very dry because they are in Texas. It's also extremely hot which they stated in the book. I wouldn't want to be playing football in 90 degree weather, so definitely not 100 degree weather.
There aren't a lot of people and I know this because everyone mostly nows everyone because of football. Which is an environment I would want to live in
They have smart phones and they talk about Eli manning and Peyton manning. They also talk about how Eli had one the Super Bowl a year ago which would mean they where living in the year of 2013. The phone was used for texting and calling.
The mood is very mellow other than the football perspective. The book is very exciting because something is always going on. When they are talking and playing football it is very exciting but when they are lounging at home it's very mellow.

The setting effects the story because if they didn't live in granger. The Cullen family might not have had such a strong football drive. I believe that if there family hadn't grown up in Granger Jake would not be playing football cause he doesn't have that much of a drive. I think this because he always talks about how much they talk about football but he doesn't seem to excited about it. I think this is a big part in this book.
