You may have seen the notices that have been sent out regarding the upcoming switch from myCCS to PowerSchool Parent Portal. Now is the time to make that transition and switch over.

In just 4 short weeks, myCCS will no longer be active. Please do not wait until it’s turned off to make the switch. This will be the one place where you will be able to access grades, lunch accounts, bus info, etc. It is vital that you set up an account so that you don’t miss out on important school information.

Please see the links below for more information about the new Power School Parent Portal.

Thank you to all the STEAM Night volunteers and bakers! We had everything from science of fingerprinting to robotics. Special thanks to all the Creekside and Carmel High School volunteers. They set a great example for our kids! Thank you to Carmel Clay Public Library, Hamilton County 4-H, Indiana Astronomical Society, Sylvan Learning, and Techpoint Foundation for Youth for providing STEAM activities.

Current 5th GRADE STUDENTS....We want YOU to be a Creeksdie Wildcat!

Please join us on Thursday, December 6th at Creekside Middle School for exciting Wildcat basketball!

All West Clay fifth graders are invited to Creekside December 6th to talk with Creekside students and teachers, take a tour of the building, eat pizza, and cheer on the Wildcats! All fifth graders at the game will receive a Wildcat t-shirt!! Parents should drop off their fifth grader(s) at the east activities entrance (cafeteria doors) at Creekside at 4:00 PM on December 6, 2018

West Clay fifth graders will be admitted free to the game. Admission to the game is $4.00 for adults, $2.00 for students, and free for fans not yet in school. Students will have an opportunity to purchase hot dogs, popcorn, snacks, and/or drinks from the concession stand.

While we are never sure when a game will end, 6:15 is an approximate time for the end of the first game. Parents should pick up their West Clay student(s) at 6:15 at the east activities entrance (Doors 34-35). To ensure everyone’s safety, please come in doors 34-35 to pick up your child.

We look forward to welcoming you as a Wildcat!

  2. Please have your child prepared to exit the vehicle quickly to help speed the unloading process. Please have your child exit the vehicle only on the sidewalk side of the car for safety.
  3. Students should begin to exit their cars at 8:00. Please DO NOT drop your children off earlier.
  4. The first car in line should pull up north of the main entrance by the orange cone. This will allow room for others behind you. Please drop off anywhere in the Drop Off Zone. You do not have to be directly in front of the doors.
  5. After unloading children, please follow the car in front of you and stay in line as you drive around the parking lot to exit. Pay attention to allow the right-of-way for incoming busses as you exit. Others in line should then pull up to allow for others just arriving.
  6. DO NOT PULL OUT OF LINE TO GO AROUND OTHER CARS. We want to make sure that all children are safe and there are no accidents in the parking lot. Only one line of traffic should be entering and leaving the parking lot, paying special attention to incoming busses. We may have some visitors walking in the parking lot and we care about their safety, too.
  7. Once out of the car, students will wait outside the doors, or in inclement weather, in the vestibule, until 8:05, when the bell sounds and students may walk to their rooms.
  8. Please make sure your child is here on time each day. If you arrive after 8:10 you will need to park in the parking lot, escort your child to the office, and sign your child in for the day. Please minimize late arrivals as every minute of classroom time is important.
  9. In the afternoon we will dismiss after the final bell at 2:35. Again, the first person to arrive should pull up to the sign and orange cones. Please pull forward and make one single row. This is a no idling zone. Please turn off your car and wait until you see your child. Once loaded, do not proceed forward until directed to do so by a staff member. Please remain in the line until you reach the exit. Only one line of moving traffic will keep our students and visitors safe. Please be patient as we continue this process for the safety of our students.
