Lets look at the process of photosynthesis:

Photosynthesis is the occurrence of plants creating their own food source using carbon dioxide, sunlight, and water. The equation for this is 6CO2 + 6H2O ------> C6H12O6 + 6O2. Basically, photosynthesis is the process used by plants to convert light energy to chemical energy that can later be released to fuel the organisms activities.

Photosynthesis is important because these living organisms need to be fed in order to stay alive, and because plants are able to make their own food, they are able to stay alive and flourish into beautiful creations.

This is the layout for a leaf. Each feature has a special job that helps the leaf function and prosper.

Without photosynthesis, we wouldnt be able to take in natures beauty. So next time you look at a plant, remember what it has to do to be the way it is.
