Calvin Klein

Calvin Richard Klein, was born on the 19th November 1942, is a American fashion designer. He is the founder of the american company Calvin Klein inc in 1968. He was born in The Bronx in New York, United States. Calvin Klein is also assisted by Barry K. Schwartz who is also a founder for Calvin Klein inc. Calvin was also friends with Barry and that's where there designing began.

Calvin Klein designs many different types of clothing, however he has given his name to different ranges of perfume, watches and jewelry. During his first years with the company he and Barry only intended to design men's sportswear until he expended his name to women's attire. Calvin was also the first designer to make women's underwear reassembling men's jockey shorts.

During his time as a kid, Calvin was inspired by his grandmother as she was a seamstress and that's where his love of sewing began. After the men's sportswear was a success, Calvin was encouraged by favorable reviews from the fashion press and the support of store executives, Calvin then added women's attire under his name
