BACKGROUND | CAREER

Maryland native Franko Murry has the voice of a generation. A modern musical renaissance man, he is a songwriter, rapper, and producer with an all-around unique sound.

Franko became involved with music early, beginning his rap career at age 13 by recording freestyles that showcased his lyrical talent. The following year, Franko co-founded the music group DMG (Diamond Music Group) alongside several other talented artists and producers.

With an alternative sound that is unique to rap, catchy puns, and the ability to harmonize effortlessly, Franko has made music stardom his destiny. In 2014, his first mixtape entitled “D.O.P.E.” became an instant classic in the underground DMV music scene. He followed it up the next year by releasing his first freestyle tape “Frank,” which quickly garnered thousands of streams on the online music platform Spinrilla.

Franko’s next, partially self-produced single “Vault” highlighted his lyrical prowess and diversity as an artist. Since, he has released several singles through various platforms, “Outer Space,” “Hungry,” and his highly popular single "Full Power.” After re-releasing a collection of his favorite tracks tittled “New To You” on Spotify in early 2021, Franko released his latest complete project titled “Saint Franklin” 04.03.21 on all streaming platforms. “Saint Franklin” consist of nine unforgettable tracks by Franko Murry with artwork inspired by John Singleton’s FX Network hit TV show “Snow Fall.”
