Sixth Sunday of Easter May 17th, 2020

In the readings of the Sixth Sunday of the Easter Season, we are reminded that God's Word reveals who we are to worship so that we might search for God and find Him. By both the Psalmist and Peter, we are are given examples of how to praise God and proclaim His faithfulness to us through trying times. Lastly, the promises sealed in today's gospel reading are as uplifting as any ever given, and are as sure as the Savior who speaks them to you.

May you continue to celebrate the resurrection of our Risen Lord throughout the entire Easter Season, growing closer to Him through the reading of His Word.

A Prayer

Living and gracious God, through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ you have brought us out to a spacious place where we are called to live as those redeemed. Empower us by your spirit to keep your commandments, that we may show forth your love with gentle words and reverent deeds to all your people. Amen.
