BWC launches BWC Employees 1st Fund

Employees helping employees who have experienced significant hardships caused by disasters and personal hardships such as hurricanes, fires, floods, or significant medical expenses.

BWC has elected to partner with the Employee Assistance Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, to administer our BWC Employees 1st Fund, allowing all donations to be tax-deductible. The foundation will start accepting grant applications in early October.

BWC Terminals will match $2.00 for every $1.00 donated through December 31, 2021, and $1.00 for $1.00 after that.

If you would like to make a one-time or continued donation through your payroll check, please click here for the form. Submit your form to Maria Cunningham, Payroll Manager at mcunningham@bwcterminals.com

Stockton Terminal expansion is moving along nicely with rings for two of the four tanks underway. The project consists of four heated 30,000 barrel tanks, 22 railcar unloading spots, 44 railcar storage spots, and two dock lines. Project completion is set for May 2022.

Port Allen

Port Allen tanks are on line for a 10 year contract consisting of 212,000 barrels of lube oil. Photos show piping upgrades and filter systems.

Construction of two 30,000 barrel tanks and associated truck rack infrastructure is underway with everything scheduled to come on line by year end.

DEI Training

As outlined in our DEI Townhall meeting earlier this year, we are excited to launch our first set of DEI training for all employees.

These classes can be accessed through a desktop computer or the ADP app using your ADP log in information.

All employees must complete both training sessions by November 30, 2021.

COVID Emergency Paid Sick Leave – All employees

BWC employees work together to overcome Hurricane Ida

Thank you to everyone who helped get Harvey, Port Allen, and Westwego terminals back in operation so quickly! In a short period of time, Houston and Texas City employees worked together to gather supplies, food, fuel, water, generators, air conditioners and more to support our employees and terminals in need.

All three terminals suffered minimal damage and back in operations quickly.
