DRUMCLASH is a new show created and Directed by Francisco Carrasco with visuals by Tristan Brady-Jacobs, and premiered at the Capstone Theatre, Liverpool, UK. The show takes the audience on a journey of discovery, from the traditional rhythms of Latin America & Africa; it transcends oceans as it weaves its magic through a plethora of rhythms, moving image and movement until it is ripped open by the destruction we bring upon ourselves. As the trails change course, it crashes from one beat to the next, powerfully clashing with the heavy energy of confrontation; quenching the thirst of loss and loneliness until it is almost lost into itself. Almost grudgingly it begins to rejuvenate itself finding forgotten freedoms and light through the power and the spirits of the healing drum.
DRUMCLASH is performed by Alina Carrasco Toft, Allyson Byrne, Estibaliz Moore Abad, Aiden Peel, Tito Carrasco-Brennan, P Max Alder, Curtis Watt, Oscar Carrasco, Tristan Brady-Jacobs and Francisco Carrasco and produced by LUMA CREATIONS & OLC PRODUCTIONS with support from its production team: Steve Hargreaves & Antonio de la Torre.
