The IAMGOLD Woman in Mining Scholarship
About the award
With funding from IAMGOLD Corporation, YMP is pleased to provide one $4,000 and one $1,000 scholarship to two exceptional women enrolled in mining-related programs for the 2019/2020 academic year.
How to apply
Take a blank sheet of paper, draw a picture, make a collage, write a short essay or a poem…Do with this page what you wish, but make it relate to mining. Your only limitations are the boundaries of this page. Scan to create a PDF copy.
The YMP scholarship review panel will value the creativity and innovativeness of the one pager along with academic excellence and extra-curricular involvement.
Application Instructions:
• Create a new folder on your computer titled “Firstname Lastname YourSchool YourProgram” and add:
- Your scanned one-page application
- Your most recent academic transcript
- Your updated resume
• Zip/compress this folder
• Click “Apply Now” below
• Click “Choose files” and upload your zipped/compressed folder as one file
