November Student Spotlight
Gabrielle Schlehr
Gabrielle (Ellie) Schlehr is a current sophomore in the Honors Program. She is a Biology major on the Pre-Med Track. Besides her dedication to Honors, she is on the club volleyball team and is a member of Society of Pre-Health Professionals, Tri-Beta Biology Honors Fraternity, and Accounting Society. Her favorite part about Honors is the community which exists among other Honors students. They not only have supported her academically and pushed her to do her best in her classes, but have also become great friends that she feels she never would've met otherwise. So far, Ellie's favorite Honors professor has been Dr. Wadkins. She admires his very relatable style, as well as his great humor and vast knowledge that makes the classroom environment so enjoyable. In her spare time, Ellie likes to read and play softball.
FUN FACT: She is deathly afraid of cacti.
Thank you, Ellie, for all your hard work at Canisius!
