Well I had I giggle last night . I loved the 90s and 80s music. Laura I've decided you know the words to everything. Jenny you definitely pour generous measures beware ladies and Dawn bring your credit card next time we may book a gig. Sorry we didn't get to see you at this months meeting Vicky and Louise. Hopefully all will be well for next month.
Our first book to review was Davina McCall - Lessons I've Learned.
This review was mixed . Most found the parts about her upbringing fascinating and and gave an insight into how this has effected her in adult life. Although it felt more like a self help book to an autobiography. I think because of this some where disappointed as they like Davina but found her book to be a bit patronising and slightly self righteous .Dawn was a big fan of the book as she found some of the advice relatable and some tips useful that she will remember to use with her older children. This was a fun book to review. I wonder if anyone tried the toothpaste on their spouses tooth brush yet ???
Our next Review was The Crossing Places
This book went down well , most comments said they had worked out the killer part way through but it was an easy and enjoyable read. A few Saying they want to read more of the series. Thanks Clare.
