Injury Prevention Avoiding Injury in Child Athletes

Many children of all ages like to engage in sports and team activities.
The number of child injuries in athletics has been increasing over recent years
Severe injuries, especially ACL, tears are one of the leading causes of child and adolescent athletic injuries.

Concussions are also a severe injury amongst the youth athletes.

Concussions, especially in soccer, football and other contact sports are caused by collision and harsh abrupt contact with a person or object.

Coaches utilizing trainers can help decrease the risk of injury.
Trainers will create and institute programs which will help athletes develop good habits and avoid future health problems.
