Professor Interview

The Interview

For my instructor interview I decided to interview Mr. Bryce Pruitt, my Math 1020 professor. I felt the need to interview him because of the simple fact of how young he is. He is in his middle 20’s, so I felt that he would be the most useful and I could get more out of this whole interview. During this interview, the main thing that stuck out to me was the motivation to get out. I was shocked to find out the few things we had in common. The main thing that we had in common was the fact that we were both from a very small town and had/have the passion and drive in getting out. He went on to tell me what motivated him and pushed him to get out of the small town that he was from. This would go alone to process in my head as a way to get out of being on Academic Probation. This interview really was more to me than just being an assignment for this portfolio, but instead I took it as a stepping stone that would help me to reach the goals that I have set for life. I also have a different way of looking at my professors now. I see them more than just being teachers of that particular class, but also as a life coach to help guide me in the direction for being the successful person that I know I can be.

The Audio recording would never work. We could set up a time so that you could listen to them.
