THE CDC WAS ESTABLISHED JULY 1, 1946 IN ATLANTA, GEORGIA. THE CDC SOUGHT OUT TO MANAGE COMMUNICABLE DISEASES AS WELL AS DOING FIELD INVESTIGATION AND TRAINING.
