Orley Farm Christmas Fair

What a wonderful way to open our thoughts on this season of giving...bringing our community together on the first day of December! A huge thank you to the OFA team, the class reps and our staff team for creating a winter wonderland in the Quad. There were some amazing stalls being run by pupils that Sir Alan Sugar would have been impressed with - great sales techniques were employed as children and adults were being skilfully parted with cash...all for worthy causes I might add!

The Reception team made sure that we didn't notice the weather as a magical walkway led to a fantastic grotto where Santa was offering certificates to his helpers for giving presents to support Noah's Ark Children's Hospice & Alexandra School.

The Chamber Choir brought festive cheer...
The mulled wine was more than warming!
Lucky that Santa was there to keep Peter Pan and Captain Hook in order!

On a personal note, I would like to thank the Reception Team who I believe came up with the theme for this year. A few weeks ago I was asked whether I would be happy to dress up as Tinkerbell...I'm delighted that there was a change of heart as I fear that this might have been somewhat traumatic for our younger viewers...

Thank you Team Reception for showing Good Judgement...!

Thank you to everyone involved in helping and also to everyone who came to support the day...even if it was simply for a cup of 'herbal' mulled wine!?! Every contribution goes to bringing us together...
