Week 1

4)This is one of my favorite pictures because it is a selfie with me and one of my good friends Julia. I like this picture because the way the light hits us and then the shadow on Julia adds to the photo and sets a mood I like. 1) This is my favorite picture that I took of the leaves. I like this picture because its focused on the leaves that i'm holding and then the background was blurry and I love fall so this setting is my favorite. 2) I love this picture that I took of my mom and my sister. I like this photo because the sun was starting to set when I was taking this photo, and the light hit them just right. This photo was taken in my backyard and I enjoy the setting in the back and around them.

Week 2

1) This is a photo that Ella's mom took of me and my friends from school on halloween when we were all in our costumes. This photo is a snapshot because not everyone was ready for the photo but her mom wanted to capture the moment anyway. 2) This second picture is a picture of me jumping. This photo is a snapshot because my friend Natalia took it while I was in the middle of jumping, and I wasn't making any poses. 3) This is a photo that my friend Isabela took of me on picture day. This is a portrait because I was prepared for the photo to be taken and I had multiple taken of me. These pictures of me were taken in the courtyard. I made this photo black and white because I feel like it adds a certain mood to the photo. 4) This last photo was also taken on picture day by my friend Isabela. This is a snapshot because we were not posing, it was just taken in the moment of us laughing over something.

Week 3

1) This first photo is a photo me and my friends took in the courtyard and we thought that message was that people of all different races can come together and face the world no matter. 2)This second picture is me and my friend Skylar and the massage for this is that this is a picture taken from jumping and no matter skin color or gender people can still get along and be very good friends.

Week 4

My artist statement:

people no matter race we can all equally love each other and that doesn’t stand between me and how much I love all of my friends because the only thing that should matter to everyone is what’s on the inside because peoples hearts are very valuable.This message is important to me because many people think that if you are white you do this wrong, if you are African American you do this. I want to change peoples beliefs on what race can be friends with what what race, just because we aren't the same race does'nt mean you can change who I choose to love. I want my audience to feel as though no matter what you look like on the outside, we will all love everyone because the inside is really what means the most to me and it should matter to everyone all over the world. This topic is personally very important to me because millions of people in this world disrespect people just because their appearance and their skin color. People all over the world need to think about this topic a lot more, treating peoples feelings like they are nothing can hurt someone and really affect the, and this needs to change.

This is my new and edited photo. What I changed about this photo is I cropped out shoes and parts of our arms so that it is just focused on our hands and our skin colors. I made the decision to crop out or legs and shoes because I feel like it captures the message and what i'm trying to tell the person who is looking at my image

This is my final photo because I like how everyone in this photo has different skin colors and and they are all holding hands and they are smiling and happy. I enjoy taking these picture with Sabrina, Sophie, Skylar, and Natalia. I hope to use this photo and the photo above both as my final photos because I feel as though they both give the same message of embracing diversity.

Week 5
