I hope this message finds you well and gearing up for a much deserved break. We are very excited about the upcoming ADI events after the holiday break, which are guaranteed to bring great fellowship and joy! Check out all the amazing 'Week of ADI' events in this issue and please make time to join us as often as you can! And I also have to mention that I will be facilitating an in-person lunch workshop called “Race, Representation, and the Inclusive Classroom” at Prospect House on December 10th…register early on the My PrincetonU site to get a seat because spots are limited.

- Zinzi Diana Bailey - (University of Miami, The Medical School) whose brilliant work at the intersection of public health and criminal justice is central to this discussion.
- Courtney Cogburn - (The Columbia School of Social Work, Columbia University) whose brilliant work on measuring racism and augmenting racial bias through virtual reality is central to this discussion.

Dean's Fund for Scholarly Travel
Application Deadline: December 1st
The Dean’s Fund for Scholarly Travel grant is available to enrolled doctoral students in years G3 through and including DCE-1 who have been invited to present a scholarly paper at a conference or meeting. Preference is given to students in the humanities and social sciences in higher years of study (i.e., G4, G5, and first year DCE) and to those whose work is not supported by a research grant. Funds are not intended to replace support from the research contract with which the student is associated.

ACLS’s Emerging Voices Fellowship
Application Deadline: 9:00pm EST, January 12th, 2022
The Emerging Voices Fellowship will focus on supporting the vanguard of scholars whose voices, perspectives, and broad visions will strengthen institutions of higher education and humanistic disciplines in the years to come. We seek to sustain emerging scholars who are “both-and”: who are both outstanding scholars and effective communicators to diverse audiences inside and/or outside the classroom.
