Lainston House Weddings Styled by Russell New - Blomster Designs

During July the team and I had the pleasure of styling the flowers for a beautiful country wedding at Lainston House in Hampshire.

Simple but stylish buttonholes for the men consisted of Gypsophlia and Lavender bound with navy blue ribbon.

Large displays of lilac & purple Delphiniums with Avalanche, Memory Lane and Morning Dew roses complimented with Astilbie, Lisianthus, Lavender and Hydrangea dressed the aisle.

The bridesmaids in navy blue dresses held posies of Lavender, Gypsophlia and Lisianthus.

Whilst the bride's beautiful ivory gown was off-set by a tied shower bouquet of Avalanche, Memory Lane and Morning Dew Roses with Lavender, Lisianthus, Gypsophila and cascades of fresh green foliage.

The front of the pavilion was dressed with a divinely scented, flowing garland in purples, lilacs and ivory providing the perfect backdrop for the couple's exchange of vows.

As the couple made their way back down the aisle they were showered with rose petal confetti and rice.

The champagne reception took place on the terrace and guests were treated to a selection of mouth-watering canap├ęs.

The guests were kept entertained with a fantastic Falconry show and a close up meeting with the birds. Love this little Owl.

Our team dressed the Dawley Barn with beautiful urns of flowers, a long flowing arrangement on the top table and ring arrangements complete with swimming Gold Fish on the guest tables.

The cake was dressed simply with Gypsophlia and Lavender.

After the formal part of the day there was plenty of time for fun!

Special thanks to our friends:

The Lainston House team.

D.visser, Meijer Roses, & Vollering Hydrangea.
