What did women do to help the war effort on while being at home?

They stepped in to the roles that males usually did. Such as: mills, factories, basically anything that really wasn't "suited" for women.

What did women do to support their families and themselves?

The joined in on working mostly because they had no choice too. In order to keep food on the table they needed a job.

How did WW2 impact the women?

Women became more social freedom, and opened their eyes to many possibilities that could be done. Sadly, they were told to go back to how life use to be and it wasn't till later after the war that was things started to change.

What imagery was used to bolster women?

Many ways that they got women to help was propaganda, news articles, commercials, etc.
