Mackenzie Ryerson class of'18

This is just a little bit about myself. My name is Mackenzie Ryerson. I attend Crater High School and play basketball and softball. I enjoy playing those two sports and spending time with my friends in my free time.

After graduating high school, I am looking into attending Oregon state University and dual enrolling with Linn Benton Community College. There I will study elementary education. I know a lot of teachers that have gone through Oregon States Education Program and have really liked it.

This is a tour of where I would be living for the four years after high school, Corvallis Oregon. This university interests me the most because the campus is extremely beautiful and feels a lot like home to me because its a small town. Also I like it because it's not far from home. (Corvallis is only about 3 hours from Central Point)

After getting my degree in elementary education I would like to come back into the Rogue Valley and represent the elementary school I attended, (CPE) but any school would be great. I want to represent a school with loving, caring, respectful teachers and students.

To make sure I get into Oregon State University I will need to take my SAT and submit my scores along with my application to them by the deadline they have for students enrolling for the fall of 2018. To get accepted into the university, you must have a GPA of 3.00. Also you must live on campus your freshman year so I will need to figure out the financial part of that. I am a junior so the deadlines they have set right now but change by the time I need to apply for college.
