On December 15, 2017, Palama Settlement held its annual community holiday event.
This event is free and open to the public. It is an opportunity for families from the neighborhood to come together and celebrate the season.
A group of creative volunteers helped to decorate our gymnasium and make it festive so we could welcome over 500 children and families to campus.
Thanks to generous donations from local businesses, board members, and individuals, we were able to give a gift to each child after they met Mr. & Mrs. Claus.
With the help of some hard-working volunteers, we served hot dogs, kalua pork plates, shave ice, cotton candy, popcorn, and cookies.
And we were fortunate to have entertainment provided by Central Middle School Band, Farrington JROTC, Palama Settlement hula students, and Life 360 Network.
