KY NW Grad Chapter Connection Spring 2019 Edition

Welcome to the KY NW Grad Chapter Connection!

In an effort to grow the strength and presence of our network of graduate brothers, we hope that this newsletter will help keep our graduate Brothers connected to the Brotherhood.

We will provide a platform for collegiate chapters to inform our graduate Brothers of upcoming events and collaboration opportunities, as well as, serve as a guide for graduated collegiate brothers to find their way back to Kappa Psi as they navigate through post-graduate life.

This newsletter will be published quarterly and we hope to receive contributions to the content from you, the readers! All we ask of you is that you keep us updated with the achievements and updates in your lives that you would like us to share with our Province, so that we may celebrate in your successes with you.

Please send any announcements you would like to make, events you would like to promote, or news you would like to share to kynwp.grad@gmail.com (photos are encouraged!).

Collegiate-Graduate Collaboration Highlight of the Quarter

Hello Graduate Brothers!

My name is Christopher Cheun and I am your recently elected NW Province Satrap. I am a NW native and have lived here my whole life. I'm really excited to have matched with a PGY1 in the NW so that I get stay "home" within our Province. When I'm not pretending to be a Pharmacist, I love to adventure to see new areas and find the best food those areas have to offer. If you're ever in the Portland area, let me know and I'll let you know my favorites! Also, I should mention that love basketball and am a huge Lakers fan.

As a soon to be graduate Brother, I have a vested interest in continuing to develop the involvement of our graduate Brothers. During my term as Satrap, I hope we can take another step forward and strengthen our graduate chapters through mentoring programs and Graduate development initiatives. Through mentoring of our collegiate Brothers, I hope to strengthen the lifelong bonds of our Brotherhood and provide our collegiates with guidance as they continue their journeys into the professional world.

Please let me know if there are any areas of improvement you would like to see from the NW Executive Committee this year, I am all ears!

Hope to meet as many of you as I can this year as Satrap and beyond! Proud to be your Brother.

Chris Cheun
