Problem Statement

Mere seconds can be the difference between life and death in disaster recovery, so the quadcopters used today may be too slow in locating victims and delivering lifesaving resources.

Solution

We will design a drone that uses VTOL (Vertical takeoff and landing) technology in order to utilize the speed of fixed wing drones, while maintaining the maneuvering capabilities of quadcopters in order to quickly locate and deliver resources to victims in disaster zones.
