BEAT 2019 Recap

We had a great time at Building Entrepreneurship Around Tampa Bay (BEAT), bringing innovative start-ups, dynamic speakers, and entrepreneurs together to celebrate the Bay area's entrepreneurial ecosystem!

Our audience comprised over 200+ attendees including local start-ups, business leaders, investors, entrepreneurial support organizations, and community dignitaries. Thank you to all of the attendees for making #BEAT2019 a success.

Keynote

Dr. Byron C. Clayton, CEO for Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing (ARM), spoke about the growth in our communities as a result of disruptive technology innovators and entrepreneurs. He left the audience with a key piece of advice; by leveraging your entrepreneurial drive, you can shape our future.

Q&A - Behind the Startup

SaLisa Berrien, CEO of COI Energy, shared her experience in the Morgan Stanley Incubator and how USF CONNECT gave her the essential tools to compete in the rigorous selection process.
