Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Obama

MICHELLE LAVAUGHN ROBINSON Obama was born on January 17, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois. To Her father, Fraser C. Robinson III and Her mother, Marian Shields Robinson.

At a young age Michelle was a very bright student . She learned to read at age 4 and she even skipped 2nd grade .

Michelle went to public schools in Chicago. By sixth grade, she began going to classes for gifted children.

She attended Princeton University, graduating cum laude in 1985, and went to earn a degree from Harvard in 1988. After graduation from Harvard, she worked at a Chicago law firm, where she met her husband, future U.S. president Barack Obama.

As first lady, she focused her attention on current social issues, such as poverty, healthy living and education. Thats what inspired the lets move initiative, which launched on February 9, 2010

Lets move raises awareness to kids adults about obesity and how to stop it within the generation. To prevent it.

In March 2015, President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama launched Let Girls Learn Movement

Let Girls Learn helps adolescent girls attain a quality education and enables them to reach their full potential.

Michelle goal for this is to help 62 million girls all around the world learn. To be able to get an education. And getting there safe.

Besides her accomplishments with 44th president Barak Obama , her 8 years in the white house she has been making positive changes thru ought the world These are just two of the many things Michelle Obama Has Accomplished being in the white house .

First Lady, Michelle Obama worked on the issues close to her heart — supporting military families, helping children lead healthier lives, and encouraging all our young people to fulfill their boundless promise.
