It relates a lot today because people don't work hard if they just have to give it up right away. So you shouldn't promise. Instead you should try and give them something that you already have instead of the thing you been working hard for.

When luck is on our side we shouldn't just sit back in my opinion we should take advantage and try for more instead of sitting back being satisfied with what we have so far. This does relate a lot to real life because a lot of times people are so satisfied that sometimes when luck is on your side you should be more daring because theirs a chance you will be way happier. Follow personal destiny and the world decides to help them. Sometimes in life when you realize what your personal goal is you will realize that its not as hard as it seems you will realize its like beginners luck.So when you go for your personal goal it isn't as hard is it seems sometimes its just in your head.

There saying that they have bump in the road where they stop but there still on there way to the destination. To get to your personal legend in real life you will realize that there are a lot of bumps on the way but you still have to keep heading towards your goal and In alchemist he got robbed that was his bump in the road but he made money and he continues to his personal legend.

"Never stop dreaming the king said follow the omens" (page 113)

Never give up on his dream and that's the treasure and to follow the omens they will help guide him to the treasure. Even in real life people that dream of something great usually never gives up because there thinking of their dream because when you have a dream it helps you work hard for what you want in life instead of not dreaming and being happy where your at.

"Tell your heat that the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself" pg 134

This relates to me a lot because i feel like your heart is telling you not too because its scared to get hurt for example im in love with this girl and i was so scared of asking her out because i was scared of rejection to the point where some other guy came along and took her and it hurts me more too see her with this guy then it would have if i would've tried but i was scared of my heart suffering the rejection.

This is the beauty of the book is that its not just some life lessons in a book its life lessons to our own life. If you have a dream or a goal in life you should go for it not be scared and yes there will be bumps in the road that will give you doubt but if you listen to your heart you will realize that you need to keep on trying to pursue your dream your goal but sometimes your heart will give you doubt but do it anyway because you will only suffer more at the end when you dont have the chance for your goal when you have an opportunity take it because when you life is coming to the end your heart will suffer thinking about what you should've or why didn't you pursue your dream.
