Tournament Organiser Details
General Information
- Teams comprise of up to 5 players
- Each fixture to involve 2 x pairs
- There are separate Men's and Women's competitions
- Entry is £40 / team
- There are three divisions based on a promotion and relegation structure - Division 2 & 3 for the majority of teams and Division 1 for the top ranked teams in the country
- All new teams will take part in Division 3 or Division 2 (dependent on entries)
- Players have to be LTA Advantage Members at the time of the first fixture
- Deadline for registration: March 16th, 2025
DIVISION 1 INFORMATION
- Division 1 is made up of the top ranked teams, based on a promotion and relegation structure from the previous year. The teams qualified to the National Finals in the 2024 season are directly invited to participate in Division 1 in 2025
- Teams will play directly to the National Finals.
- The National Finals will take place from 13th - 14th of September 2025 at the National Tennis Centre, Roehampton
- NOMINATIONS (NEW FOR 2025) - after the closing date teams will be asked to submit their provisional player nominations, any player provisionally nominated will not be able to compete for another team (in Division 2 or Division 3). Further details will be sent to teams after the closing date.
- The teams invited to participate in the National Finals are:
- Men's - Rocks Lane A, Harbour Club Chelsea, Rocks Lane B, Roehampton Club A, Roehampton Club B, NTC, Stratford Padel Club A, Thistle Padel Club
- Women's - Harbour Club Chelsea, WimX, Stratford Padel A, Roehampton, Stratford Padel B, Rocket Padel Bristol
- All players must have active LTA Advantage memberships at the time of the event
- All matches will be played to the best of 3 sets, with championship tie-break (10-points) as 3rd set. Subject to confirmation prior to the finals
- Golden-point rule will be applicable in every game within the match (except the tie-break), scroll to the bottom of this page to view the rule
- Each fixture will involve - Pair 1 v Pair 1, Pair 2 v Pair 2
- If the overall match score is 1-1 after the two rubbers have been played, a match tie-break to 10 points (2 clear points) will be played to decide the overall winner of the fixture. This match tie-break will be made up of one pair from each team who have not yet played a fixture together e.g. one player from Pair 1 and one player from Pair 2
DIVISION 2 INFORMATION
- Division 2 comprises of the Regional Playoffs with the winners progressing through to the Division 2 Finals. The winners of the Division 2 finals will then be promoted into Division 1 for 2026 (NB this is subject to any competition changes made at the LTA's discretion)
- The rest of the teams which haven’t been allocated into Division 1 are directly allocated into Division 2 (or Division 3 dependent on entries)
- Teams will be allocated into regional groups trying to minimize the travelling hours for the play-off phase
- Although venues may enter as many teams as they wish, a maximum of 2-3 teams from the same venue would be recommended
- Should a venue register more than 2 teams, some of the teams will be required to travel to different areas for the Regional Playoffs
- The Regional Playoffs will take place from 31st May to 1st June 2025, at the various locations nationwide to be determined. Venues to be confirmed after the closing date.
- Host groups will be given a 'host fee' of £300 from the LTA to contribute towards the cost of the court booking, balls and any other costs associated with the event. Team captains will be required to administer the fixtures at the host venue (there will be no Official present).
- The winner of each regional group will progress to the Division 2 Finals
- The Finals for Division 2 will take place on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st September 2025 at the National Tennis Centre
- All players must have active LTA Advantage memberships at the time of the event
- Should the winner of the regional group refuse the invitation to the National Finals, the invitation will pass on to the next qualified within its regional group
- The format of the Regional Playoff will depend on the number of teams in the regional group, which is to be confirmed once all registrations are received and accepted
- If the maximum number of teams is reached within Division 2, some teams will be placed into Division 3
- The National Finals will invite between 4 and 8 teams, depending on the number of teams in the Regional groups, and the format of the finals will depend on the number of teams qualifying through
- The first two teams (Winner and Runner-up) of the National Finals will be promoted to compete in Division 1 during next season’s (2026) National League. (NB this is subject to any competition changes made at the LTA's discretion)
DIVISION 3 INFORMATION
- If the maximum number of teams is reached within Division 2, all new teams will be automatically placed into Division 3.
- Any teams not allocated into Division 1 and Division 2 will be allocated into Division 3. Division 3 compromises of a league stage in a round robin format.
- Fixtures will take place in a home and away format. It will be the team captain’s responsibility to arrange once the fixtures have been put together. Teams can arrange to play each other at one central venue if they wish to do so (at their own cost).
- The fixtures which need to be completed by 31st July 2025. The winner of each group will be promoted to Division 2 for the following year.
- Teams will be allocated into groups based on location as much as possible. Teams also have the option of organising all of their fixtures to take place at a central venue if they wish to do so – this must be arranged and administered by the respective teams.
MATCH FORMAT
- Four players per team will participate in each team encounter
- Each team encounter will consist of two matches in total. Each fixture will involve - Pair 1 v Pair 1, Pair 2 v Pair 2
- Each encounter will score 2 points for the winning team and 0 points to the losing team, and each match won will count as 1 match-point, within the encounter
- The pairings must be confirmed 30-minutes before the start of each encounter
- The team’s classification within the group will be determined by the number of encounters won
- In case of a tie between two teams, the winner will be based on the winner of the encounter between tied teams. In case of a tie between three teams, the LTA Round Robin rules for team competition will be followed

• Each venue shall register as many teams as desired. Please only enter the number of teams that you are committed to fulfill
• Clubs will then be allocated in Divisions and Regional Groups by the LTA
