Share your reasons & motivations for pursuing surrogacy:

All my life my biggest fear was not being able to have kids. I now have two beautiful children. With both of them, my pregnancies were so easy. I have had friends and family deal with infertility and I knew I could carry and do carry so well. So after having my two children, my husband and I knew our family was complete. But I knew in my heart I could carry more children for someone else!

What would you like prospective Intended Parents to know about you?

I am pretty outgoing, I love my family. I work hard for what I do (stay at home mama). I am very open and quite assertive. I am also very loyal and trustworthy.

We believe that everyone deserves a family, tell us about yours:

My family is my everything. They are the light of my life! My husband-Brady is the most amazing man and father. He works hard for his family and is so attentive and caring. Breck my four year old is the sweetest little dude, the best big brother. He helps me out so much! He is Brady's little twin, loves anything with wheels, but he sure has a fascination with dinosaurs right now. Averi (we call her V) she is our little spit fire, she is such a sweet little thing. She loves being outdoors, if she is upset or ornery all we need to do is take her outside and she is back to her sweet little self. She loves anything her big brother does.

Who will be your greatest source of support through this journey?

My husband will be my number 1. He is such an amazing support to me. Also my friends and family have my back 100% and they are excited to see me go through this journey.

How will the financial compensation for being a surrogate help you and your family?

I think that it will give us a nice savings for our family. It will be nice to have in the future for our children.

Please share your expectations of the surrogacy process:

I think that it will be trying at times but such an amazing experience. I am going into this with a big heart and open mind.

The legal procedures involved in third party collaborative reproduction vary from state to state and country to country. ConceiveAbilities' legal team will explain to you exactly when and what documents will be filed to ensure that you establish your parental rights to your child. ConceiveAbilities is dedicated to educating you about the legal process, including the specific state laws that will impact your journey. From a legal perspective, your personal strategy will account for multiple considerations, all of which aim to minimize your risk and to protect you in an ever-changing legal landscape. Remember, the state where your surrogate resides and gives birth governs your parentage procedures.

"The legal landscape is constantly changing and I work with my clients to provide them with the best possible legal outcomes. I can help you navigate through the laws surrounding family building so that you can have the peace of mind that comes with knowing that your family has legal security."

After your surrogate match is secured, Meg and your dedicated Match Manager will provide guidance on the legal steps ahead. This includes the drafting and negotiation of the Direct Agreement and subsequent parentage documents specific to your surrogate's state.

An independent review of Jamie's current plan with Cigna resulted in a professional opinion that she will be able to use her policy for expenses related to surrogacy. However, this should not be seen as a guarantee of coverage.

Once you are closer to an embryo transfer, a consult with Art Risk will provide you with an updated analysis and opinion of coverage options, and also discuss possibilities which may arise that can impact the level of benefits obtained. Please keep in mind that the below letter is not a guarantee of coverage. The analysis is intended only as a tool to be considered as you develop your plan for securing health insurance for your surrogate's journey.
