Lunar New Year Livingston's Chinese Cultural Day Celebrates Year of the Rooster

Happy Lunar New Year! Livingston’s celebrations include Chinese Cultural Day, observed on Saturday, Feb. 4 with music, dance, and a bountiful of children’s activities. The LHS Chinese program was among the organizers who helped transform the high school and welcomed in the Year of the Rooster. The school joined with Chinese organizations for the festivities, including the Livingston Chinese Association, the Livingston Huaxia Chinese School, Livingston Chinese School, and Living Stone Christian Church. Welcoming in the Year of the Rooster -- symbolic of hard work and diligence (the rooster is always the first one up with energy to take on the new day) – were dozens of families who enjoyed the colorful dance performances, the symbols and food.

恭禧发财. (We wish you good fortune in the Year of the Rooster.)
