Hi Today I'm gonna be taking about Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦

The majority of the population in Saudi Arabia is Muslim

Population

The population of Saudi Arabia is 32,635,382

Type of government

The type of government in Saudi Arabia is monarchy and the first king was king Abdulaziz and he died in November 9, 1953 and our king now is king salman

Geography

Saudi Arabia is the largest country in the Middle East bordering the Persian gulf and the Red Sea, north of Yemen and 95% of the land is desert

Resources

Saudi is most known for its oil but there are a lot of other natural resources that Saudi Arabia has such as small mineral deposits of gold, silver, iron, copper, zinc, lead and many more

Native foods

Some traditional foods are kabsah , dates and Arabic coffee

Climate

The climate in Saudi Arabia is very hot because we live in a desert and sometimes in the winter the weather can go down to one degrees which is really cold ❄️ and sometimes in the spring it can rain but sometimes it's rare

Flag

The Saudi flag is green With white writing that says لا إله الا الله محمد رسول الله which means there is no god but allah and Muhammad is the messenger of god and under that it has a white sword

Cultural clothing

For clothing men wear thobe and شماغ and for women they wear hijab and abaya

Famous monuments

- Masjid alharam is located in Makkah and it is the largest mosque in the world

- masjid alnabawi is located in madinah and it is an important Islamic site because the prophet Muhammad's tomb is there

Capital and major cities

The capital city is Riyadh and some of the major cities are Jeddah, Makkah, madinah, dammam,Dhahran, alahsa and many more

Major agricultural products

Date palm: palm trees in Saudi Arabia is known for producing dates

Important national dates

Saudi national day is celebrated in September 23, and celebrates the coming together of the kingdom Saudi Arabia (ksa)

Interesting fact I learned

Something i learned was that Saudi Arabia is the largest country in the Middle East

I also learned that Riyadh camel market is one of the largest in the world

Something I want to add

There's a festival in Riyadh that comes every year called jenadriyah festival: culture festival from all cities in Saudi Arabia showing their traditions
