Carol Service
The Carol Service will take place on Friday 20th December at St Andrew’s Church at 2pm families and friends are welcome to join us.
Could you please reply to this email or speak to the office to let us know whether you will be collecting your child from St Andrew’s Church after the service at 2.30pm. Children not collected from St Andrew’s will be walked back to school and can be collected at 3.00pm as usual.
Foundation Stage children are not directly involved in the Carol service and a separate letter will be sent to Foundation Stage parents about this.
Children should not bring bags into school on this day. Packed lunches need to be put into disposable bags, rather than lunchboxes. This is to ensure that children are not carrying anything with them to the church as space is limited.
Sport England Survey (Parents of Pupils in Years 1 & 2 Only)
Last week we sent home letters detailing a Sport England survey pupils in years 1-6 would be taking part in. As part of the survey Sport England would like parents of pupils in years 1 & 2 to complete an online questionnaire which will take about 20 minutes. This will supplement the answers your child gives with more detailed information and will help to build a broader picture of activities done by children of this age. You can complete the survey at home, you may find it helpful to complete the survey with your child present.
You can access the survey by clicking on the link below. Surveys need to be completed by 12th December 2019. Thank you for your help.
Knowledge Organisers

Level 2 Football Play Offs
Huge congratulations to our girls and boys football teams, after their brilliant performances at last Fridays Level 2 play offs. Our girls team were undefeated in their tournament and finished 1st. Our boys, after some very close matches, came 2nd in their tournament.
Both teams will now go through to represent Monkton Park in the Level 3 County Games on 14th January. This is the first time we have progressed this far in the competition and is a huge achievement for both teams.
