Typical Day

Duties: Conduct studies of behavior and brain functions; collecting information by observing, interviewing, surveying,etc; identifying psychological, emotional, behavioral, or organizational issues; diagnosing disorders based off of research; research behavioral or emotional patterns; test patterns to gain a better understanding of behavior; discuss treatment with clients; write articles, research papers, or reports.

Hours: Private practice- choose hours and works weekends or evenings based on client needs Clinic- works normal day of 8 a.m.-5p.m.
