The Texas Horse Help mobile app was created as a free service to the Texas horse community, and provides an outlet for people to connect, and stay informed in a format that is not breed, discipline or experience specific. Find Professionals

View all different types of equine services in Texas and specifically in your location using the Find Professionals feature. Pins can also be separated by category using the black bar at the top of the screen. View competition venues, veterinarians, farriers, retail locations, lessons & training, breeders, and specialty services such as photographers, and event coordinators. Simply touch a pin for business information, driving directions and more.

Search for a specific type of service using the search box in the list view. For example searching "reining" will bring up professionals who have used that keyword in their business description. Or simply scroll through the list and view the amazing equine professionals in our state.

Find Events

Use this feature to get a calendar of events across the state including clinics, horse shows, speed events, 4-H contests and more. Select an event to get details, driving directions, and even add it to your calendar!

Find Extension

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service is a unique education agency with a statewide network of professional educators, trained volunteers, and county offices. It reaches into every Texas county to address local priority needs. Have a specific question or want to get involved in your local Ag community? Contact your county extension office!

Resources and Education

All of the AgriLife Horse Educational materials are at your fingertips. View the YouTube video library, read informational articles, or register for an online course. Check back often for new and updated materials!

Two online horse judging courses are available. The Archives course is FREE and designed to be a source of information for the beginner judge. The second course, Online Horse Judging, has an extensive library of practice videos that include official placings, cuts and reasons. New material is added continuously and is now presented in HD video!

The Texas A&M Equine Reproductive Management Short Course is designed for owners and breeding managers who want to learn the most efficient methods for ensuring the success of their breeding programs.

4-H Horse Project

4-H is the largest youth development program in Texas with more than 550,000 youth involved each year. Learn and grow in the horse project through horse judging, showing, quiz bowl, skillathon, public speaking and more. Or become a volunteer and help grow the horse industry professionals of the future. Contact your county extension office to find out about 4-H clubs in your area and keep track of 4-H opportunities within the app!
